About The Product:

One of our favorite treadmills that we have reviewed on this site is the Horizon T101 Treadmill. This particular treadmill gives you a good cardio workout in the safety and comfort of your own home. It has a 2.25 horse power motor, can reach speeds from 0-10 mph with an incline of 0-10 percent. The T101 features 9 workout program options that allow you to dictate the kind of exercise you need and one that you can handle. Some of the optional functions on this machine include the following: time, distance and calories, and 3 workout types: manual, intervals and weight loss.  It is equipped with a Pulse Bar that shows your heart rate. The T101 also features Sonic Surround Speakers with MP3 input and headphone output, 3 orange LED windows, and PerfectFLEX cushioning for a more comfortable exercise.

Putting it away won’t be a workout in itself as the Horizon T101 treadmill stores easily thanks to the convenience of the FeatherLIGHT lift system, which is entirely exclusive to Horizon Fitness and their range of products. Horizon is a division of Johnson Health Tech, one of the largest manufacturers of fitness equipment in the world. The machine itself weighs in at one hundred and sixty nine pounds and has a maximum user weight of 300 pounds. The Horizon T101 is one of our most favorable and recommended products here at ItsAboutTreadmills.com. It comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor. A definite thumbs up on this treadmill and one that comes with generous value for its price tag.

A Good Buy For Its Price Tag

    THE GOOD:

I was happy with the treadmills price, The running deck is spacious for me also. I also find it comfortable to use and has a nice, neat, aesthetically pleasing look. I also enjoy the way the machine folds as there is limited space in my home.

    THE BAD:

Not really happy with the speakers on this machine. I'm not too impressed with the way the Horizon T101 doesnt exactly cater for those that run. Its a little wobbly when you begin to run on it. However, I think this depends on your size and weight.

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

From my own experience, I am happy with this machine. I would recommend this treadmill to anyone who wants to workout at home with a good machine at an affordable price. I think everyone has their own requirements for a treadmill.. so people need to research these things themselves.

    REVIEW:

As soon as Christmas completed its run in 2011 and the new year was ahead of me, I promised myself that I was going to use a fitness machine at home to help me destress my body and feel better about my fitness and appearance. I have a job that doesnt exactly pay well these days even though I work long hours. So I wanted to purchase something that had some sort of quality behind it at a resonable price. I've always enjoyed walking and light jogging, so a treadmill was always going to be the fitness machine of choice.

So... I spent a couple of days doing some product research. I've had some friends that have Sole & Horizon treadmill machines, so I was able to test their machines out. I also went online to read up on some good treadmill machines... I also had an interest in the smooth treadmill brand. After spending some time researching, I eventually came to the conclusion that I was going to go with the Horizon T101. Why you ask? Well... Basically because it is a popular treadmill at a reasonable price. It suited my needs. I read a lot of positive reviews about the Horizon T101. I was satisfied with the size of the running space which is 20" x 55". The features and functions are enough for me to work with.. I am not the biggest fan of addon's and gadgets. I was also pretty impressed by its structure and design. I find it quite solid and stable when I am jogging on it.

I have ran on it a few times and I did notice the machine struggle slighty in terms of a wobble. I wouldnt class myself as being heavy... but this is something you might want to consider if you are going to buy this treadmill. Running on it may be an issue because of the wobble effect it has. Its not just me that uses this treadmill... my partner also actively worksout on it too... so it gets plenty of use.. thankfully! :)

The Emergence Of Horizon & The T101!

    THE GOOD:

Great price, good quality treadmill, sturdy & solid whilst working out. The motor doesn't give off too much noise, good size running area, user friendly console with large buttons and displays, comfortable to workout on

    THE BAD:

As for right now... I dont have any complaints to tell. If I do come across some complaints, I will edit this review to include any issues or problems I have down the road!

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

I've been happy with this treadmill so far! Its given me great value and has allowed me to work up a sweat every time I exercise on it. I would recommend this machine to those that want quality for a budget that consists of around 6-700 dollars. Be sure to test it out yourself and have a walk/run before you purchase!

    REVIEW:

I've been wanting to get into exercise and running in particular for a couple of years now, but have been unable to fully commit myself due to the fact that I have other life commitments that come first (ie kids, marriage). I promised myself that I would get a treadmil for the house so that I could workout anytime I wanted to. I have a spacious basement in my home and I thought I would be able to fit a decent sized treadmill down there. I wanted something that was good, but not too expensive... so my budget was around the $800 mark.

I went over to my local fitness equipment store and began to test out some of the treadmills there. I really enjoyed testing the Sole treadmills as I found them to be really solid, safe to use with plenty of programs to work with. But as some of you may know, Sole treadmills are expensive and I dont have that kinda money. The shop assistant told me about Horizon treadmills and that they were a cheaper alternative, whilst still maintaining quality. He introduced me to the Horizon T101 & after giving it a go, I was fairly happy with it. I went back home and began searching for other merchants online that might have a better deal as I always keep hearing that there are some great online deals to be had. I came across amazon.com and found the Horizon t101 for a cheaper price then the store I was in. So I went ahead and purchased.

A few days later, the deliver man arrives with a huge package! I was surprised to see how fast it came (Go Amazon!). The delivery guys were kind enough to help me place the package down in my basement. I began assembling the device with the instruction's at hand. All the components of the treadmill where not damaged, which I was very thankful for, as I was worried about my treadmill getting damaged during the deliver period. The setup and installation was fairly straight forward.

After using this machine for a few months now, I am still quite happy with its performance. Its only myself that uses it and I am exercising on it about 3 hours a week.. which I supposed is not that much really. I am happy with the speed amount on this treadmill and I like the incline feature as it helps to add more of a challenge during your workouts! Not that I need it, but the fold feature is great too, its simple to move up or down and really helps with saving space for those that dont have a lot of space in their homes. I am 5'10" in height and I find that the running space is adequate for me. I also use the MP3 player hook up whilst I am exercising as it keeps me motivated as I listen to my music!

So to finish off.. all I can say right now is that its a good quality treadmill for the price you pay. Check online for the best deals and go to the stores to test run a treadmill. You will feel far more confident and less anxious if you test it out first before you buy online.
