Are you competitive? Do you like each workout to feel like there’s someone pushing you to run more? The Proform 980 CS treadmill can do just that. It’s got a wide variety of workout options (8 for competition, 8 for performance, and 8 for weight-loss) so you won’t feel there are no challenges. Add that to the fact that it’s iFit compatible. This is a good thing but please take note that this model does not connect to iFit Live. It does however allow you to put iFit workout cards inside the slot found on the console. Although these cards do not come with the treadmill, they can be purchased and will plug into the SD slot on the console so the system can read these cards and change the settings of your treadmill automatically. You can get additional workout programs from this card.
The personal trainer’s voice feels like you’re in a gym working out with someone. The journal which can keep track of your workout over time (like up to 10 years) is a great way to see how far you’ve come. We like that there’s even choices for how firm or soft you want the cushioning system to be! It’s like choosing a mattress. Each person has different sleeping positions, just like each one has different running styles and strides.
If you choose this machine and are iffy about the one year warranty on parts and labor, we suggest you get the extended warranty to ease your worries.
